Geox are so expensive, so when they were on super-sale on Amazon I jumped. They really are that comfy and cushion-y; there's no breaking-in period at all. They do run at least a half-size small, so be forewarned.

This is the second pair of Geox Stefany that I have purchased (the other was grey). Very comfortable and well priced.

This is my second Geox shoe (the first one was a loafer). I purchased the brown suede in EU 42 (which is equivalent to a US 11). The length is true to size, the width is a firm medium (ladies with slightly wider feet, as in my case, will be able to get away with this style). The color is as depicted on the website (with the piping being a vibrant, and yet suddle, gold). The upper and the lining are leather. The sole is rubber. The squared tip is great for those whose second toe is longer then the big toe.
The overall look of the shoe is feminine. Though nicely padded, the style is not bulky, while offering more protection from the ground then most ballet flats (which typically look feminine, but have extremely thin, and thus impractical, soles). The style is extremely vesatile. It could be worn in a casual as well as office setting thruthout all four seasons (depending on the climate, of course). The only small drawback might be the deeper cut on the side of the big toe joint. While it does not directly run accross the joint, it may still be aggravating to those with more severe bunions.
I recommend this style for its femininity, comfort and practicality. It will fast become a workhorse of your "shoedrobe"...
PS: The manufacturer promises a patented waterproof and breathable technology. Since I have not worn either style in the rain yet, I cannot speak to their waterproof qualities. The shoes do seem very breathable though (no sweating).
