I ordered 2 pair of these shoes and the glue did not hold on the soles. Amazon replaced the first pair and I received a credit for the 2nd. Nice shoes, poor quality.

These are lightweight easy on/off, water resistant at least and really grip on rocks with a "Spider" sole for grip I guess. I do know they held like a spider on the giant rocks on a jetty at the beach which were wet; held tight at a nearly 45 degree angle. So they do as advertized in that dept anyway. I am not a rock climber-not close and that is just about as close a I will ever get. Dont even go to the mountains. I liked these so much , i got 2 pair. one black the other one 'charcoal' but looks closer to a brownish and has the orange trim. I have walked in the rain and stayed dry so dont know if they are waterproof or resistant but did function as around town walking shoes which are so light i hardly know they are on. They are rather comfortable but in an odd way. not as pillowy as the 4x as costly Merrills i have but still very easy...i can feel the soft rubber sole points through but it isnt like walking on rocks almost relaxing as it is soft and somewhat stimulating took getting used to. good all round casual convenient indoor/outdoor sale priced bargains.

Just got the shoes about a month ago and completely loving it. I've been using it mostly to do my daily walking in the neighborhood, light hiking, and biking. It's light weight and VERY comfortable. My son thinks it looks funny but I think it looks just great :-)
