I've sworn by Rockports since I bought a pair on clearance 5 years ago. I wore those to the ground and still miss them on occasion. Now on to the new ones I just purchased...I bought two pairs of these, one in each color. My shoe sizes range from 9-11 depending on types of shoes and brands...for example I wear a size 11 in my Aasics running shoes (1/2 size bigger than a nice tight fit) and 10.5 in my everyday Aasics sneakers. So either way I bought these in 9.5 W and they are a little big in every way (length and width) which is fine by me because I can always wear thicker socks...plus I HATE having to "break" shoes in.
The material is very nice and the shoes look really slick...like others mention above I think these will work with suits as well as casually. The material also doesn't show markings with slight scratches/scuffs which a lot of cheaper shoes tend to have these days (Skechers more specifically). The brown is a bit darker than it seems on the site, which I actually like a lot more. They are light weight and very comfortable, which is what I have always come to expect from Rockport...compared the Capitol series they make which are a LOT heavier than I expect from Rockport.
For those that complain about the size being off...I've NEVER found universality in shoe sizes between different brands/types...you could just order the same shoe from [...] (an Amazon sister company who offers FREE overnight shipping and FREE returns) to check out the size and then order off Amazon for the cheaper price, which is exactly what I did.

I purchased these for my hubby as he has foot problems and has problems with hard sole shoes. He put these on when they arrived and said they were the most comfortable shoe he'd had on his feet in a long time. He wears suits and they go very well with both business and casual. Good comfort and good looks.

I wear 10.5 wide shoe which is what I ordered but the shoe was too wide. Bought thicker socks. ;)

I wear a 9 wide. I already own Rockfords and made the stupid assumption that these would follow the same mold. This felt like a narrow. A big disappointment especially when Amazon is charging me for the return label. The manufacturer or seller should be the one charged for selling a sub-standard product. If you have a wide foot, DON'T buy these.
