I purchased these shoes as a Christmas gift for my 4 year old. The batteries died with in 2 weeks and the velcro separated completely from the straps after being worn a couple of months, so as I couldn't get them to stay on so that my child could still wear them. These shoes sucked!!!

This is the worst possible experience EVER...waste of my time AND money!!!
I have written the company and phoned their customer service department regarding these shoes and they were completely unhelpful!
condensed version being we bought the shoes, he wore them twice lights went out, returned them for another pair wore them twice lights went out....dont want to spend the next few months returning to the store 3 times a week to replace shoes.......shoes are being returned.
Shoddy workmanship at the expense of our children and wallets!

Son loves these shoes and at the time of purchase..they were $15 less on Amazon. They have sense come down at the retail store but doesn't matter.
Has gotten many comments on them!

My son just *had* to have these shoes. Finding them on Amazon for the right price convinced me to purchase them. The shoe quality is great, and for those rushed school mornings, easy-on with Velcro works out just fine. However, the lights on one of the shoes stopped working after only a week. With the name 'Skechers' attached, I expected more from the entire product than I got.
