these are great for rushing to the store, but not for serious workout, they appear to have support, but not really. very good looking, but only skin deep. so to speak.

I like these shoes for walking because of the heel support, but I think they are too heavy for a running shoe.

I purchased these for work--I need a quality pair of cushioned shoes to keep me going for the day. They do the job just fine and for the price I paid, unreal!
They are not as comfortable as other pairs of shoes I have, however, they cause me zero problems and I continue to wear them well.

I really like New Balance shoes, but have been a bit disappointed with these. While they look great and have plenty of cushioning, they are not really for running outdoors. The sole has lots of small gaps where pebbles are constantly getting stuck. And when you take them on a muddy trail, you'll have to carry around a lot of mud in the large gaps in the sole (which are there presumably to make the shoe lighter). If you're just walking or working out at the gym, they're probably fine, but I wouldn't recommended them for running in the great outdoors.
